Anagha Deshpande

Owner & Food Safety Consultant

Anagha is the owner of RefineUS; a food safety consulting and education company based in Salt Lake City, UT . She has over 12 years of experience in food science and food safety and has helped several food manufacturers grow their businesses through food safety certifications and compliance standards such as HACCP, GMP, SQF, FSMA, etc. Anagha has also served in several food safety-related positions for medium-sized to multi-national companies. She has significant experience working with FDA, USDA, and state and local health departments. Anagha is extremely passionate about food safety.

Her favorite part about this job is helping manufacturers as an extension of their team and interacting with the clients. Apart from staying up to date with local and global food safety regulations, Anagha enjoys traveling and hiking with her husband and her golden retriever, fitness activities, and dancing. Her favorite saying to live by is “It’s nice to be important but it is really important to be nice!’
